Academics and Staff

The school strictly follows the NCERT syllabus. All subjects except the languages are taught in English. Our teachers are our strength. They are light and knowledge. They are constantly on move to research & innovate, develop and adopt new teaching methods and play a state role in pursuing the school’s vision of ,shaking its scholars a perfect blend of traditional pedagogy and modern technology with a very desirable student — teacher ratio 30:1. The interaction is often one to one fostering understanding. Our teachers’ fine sensitivities respond to the needs of the child. They add to the curriculum things that are left out i.e. compassion, love, harmony and togetherness.

For the development of students, teachers use all possible techniques, methods and teaching aids. They never forget to keep their own level of knowledge up to date and continue with their own learning and growing process. All our teachers are computer savy as we believe that technology plays a major role in making a topic comprehensive and interesting.

Seminars and workshops are conducted to equip the teachers to keep pace with the changing needs of the process of education. Be it academics or cultural activities, teachers are trained to establish strong and healthy relationship imbibing the virtues of moral and social discipline among children.

Students Diary

N.B :- Parents are requested to check the dairy daily. Each student must have a school dairy which has to be brought to school dairy. The diary contains the general rules and regulations of the school, which everyone has to abide by. It acts as a ready reference for finding the schedule of activities, functions, tests, holidays, examinations etc. which are spread over evenly all through the year. It is an easy means of communications between parents and teachers and vice versa. It acts as a mirror, reflecting the Academic records, discipline and daily performance level of the students.

For the Students

Student must carry his/her Almanac to school everyday. It must have his/her photograph and identification information complete and signed by parents.
Students should be neatly dressed. The school uniform is to be worn on all working days.
Boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.
Girls should plait their hair if it is below their shoulders. Short hair should be neatly cut and pinned.
Students are expected to respect the property of others. This includes respect for school property. No student should damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on walls, furniture or in any way damage things that belong to others. Damage done, even by accident, should be reported at once to the class teacher or Principal. Any damage done will be made good by the one who causes it.
The school is not responsible for goods lost. It is advisable not to bring valuable articles (like expensive watches, pens or other items) to school.
Students are not to wear any jewellery to school (e.g. chains, rings, bangles, bracelets etc.) Girls may wear only one pair of small ear rings or studs
Students who come to school in the care of servants should never leave before the servant arrives. In case of delay, they should report to the school office. Those who-go alone should be prompt in returning straight home.
Students should be polite wherever they go. They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Bullying and use of foul language are punish-able offences
The school reserves right to suspend or take strict disciplinary action against a student whose diligence or progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory or whose conduct is harmful to other students.
As far as possible, once a child has come to school, he/she should not he asked to come home on half day leave.
Students should get their Report Cards signed by their parents/ guardians within five days of the receipt of the Report Cards and return them to the class teachers. If lost. a fine will be imposed.
Students must not miss any teaching/games /library/activity periods
School provides education from Nursery to Class XII. Therefore, it is expected that the juniors be treated with love and affection by the seniors while the juniors show respect to their seniors
No student should indulge in any of the following practices

(a) Spitting in or near the school building

(b) Disfiguring or otherwise damaging any school property

(c ) Smoking

(d) Any form of gambling

(e) Rowdy and rude behaviour

(f) Use of violence in any form

(g) Casteism, communalism or practice of untouchability

Curriculum for Examination and Promotions

Regular tests are a feature, attendance for these is compulsory and final results are declared on the cumulative marks obtained throughout the year. Hence, attendance for all Tests and Exams is essential.
The pass mark will be 40%. Promotion will be given on the basis of marks in Theory Examination only. A student must pass in each of the five subjects including English.
Parents are requested to extend full co-operation to the school authorities for the speedy development and rapid progress of your children.
On the days when Unit Tests are held, attendance for the full day is essential. Students will NOT be permitted to take the Unit Test and return home
Special arrangements cannot be made for pupils who for any reason whatsoever, are absent from the main Examination or any part of it. Pupils, who are absent from any exam for whatever reason, will be awarded zero marks for that particular exam. (All fees due are to be paid before the commencement of the exams).
A student who uses unfair means during a test will be given zero marks for that subject. Repetition of the same will result in stern action.

Important Information for Parents

The Parents may meet the following as per the schedule given below
Principal - 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (on all working days)
Reps.-9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. (on Tuesday, with prior appointment)
Class Teachers and Subject Teachers (Only through the Principal)
Parents are requested not to go directly to the class to meet the teachers as they will not be able to leave their class to attend to you.
Parents are requested not to come without prior appointment with the respective teachers.
Kindly send an application to the Rep/Class teacher seeking an appointment.
Kindly ensure that the details in the Almanac are completed.
